Causa errato acquisto vendo 4 candele NGK Iridium IX. Al momento di montarle Leo Cerini mi ha detto che vanno bene sul Rover e non su Toyota. Sad

VI do il codice così potete controllare anche voi.

Caspita mi dispiace.

Io uso le Champion al Platino, ma le Iridium della NGK dovrebbero essere leggermente superiori.

Peccato che le ho cambiate da pochissimo.

Su Elise Parts scrivono cosi:

Champion are probably the best known Spark plug manufacturer in the World and when it comes to 'K' Series engines there are no better plugs to use.

The S1 Exige and 340R VHPD 'K' Series use a Champion Spark plug which has a higher heat range, available in the menu below.

The Series 2 'K' Series Elise use a Special spark plug which can be chosen from the list below.

Features include:

Lasers are used for pinpoint precision welds, reducing excess debris.

The reduction of debris decreases the required voltage to bridge the spark gap.

Platinum tips welded on the ground and centre electrodes reduce the wear rate on both of these surfaces.

Ensures greater durability and long life; you can expect 20,000 miles+ on these plugs.

These are about the best available and used in 'K' series engines producing in excess of 200BHP.

SUPPLIED AS A FULL SET OF 4 SPARK PLUGS.

Dicono che le S2 usano una candela speciale, infatti sotto si puo scegliere per quale auto ti servono.

Ho trovato un sito dove mettono tutte le candele compatibili per ogni modello, non so se si sbagliano o meno ma guardate anche voi.

Andrea non vorrei che Leo si sbagliava, strano a direi di solito lui non sbaglia mai. Very Happy

Ma da qui si vede che questa candela va bene per Rover S2 e toyota S2, sulle S1 non ha il codice -11 che sembra indichi la temperatura, da quello che dicono qui sul forum di Lotustalk:

Lui ha queste con il codice 11 alla fine e vanno solo sulle S2 rover o toyota.

Mentre sulla S1 si possono montare queste che non hanno il codice 11 alla fine.

Non penso che puoi usarle sulla S1.

Forse ho trovato cambia la distanza del elettrodo.

BKR6EIX (NGK-6148) a.k.a Iridium IX - This is pregapped at .032 and should be adjusted only with a professional adjusting tool. The circle type gap tools can break the fine point on the iridium tip. This is a single ground electrode plug.

BKR6EIX-11 (NGK-3764) a.k.a Iridium IX-11 - This is pregapped at .044 and should not be used in our cars. Adjusting a gap of this width is not necessary and should not be attempted.
